Bkom Studios Heading To DKS And XDS 2015
Quebec, August 19, 2015 – BKOM Studios will be attending both the Digital Kids Summit (DKS) in San Francisco, on September 9 and 10, and the External Development Summit (XDS) in Vancouver, from September 9 to 11.
BKOM Studios is naturally drawn to the Digital Kids Summit because of the enviable expertise it has already acquired in developing games for children. However, the demand for quality games, apps and digital media services designed specifically for kids will continue to grow as more and more of them gain access to tablets, smartphones and connected toys. This event is the perfect opportunity to meet and network with industry experts whose insight will help the company achieve its goals moving forward.
At the External Development Summit, BKOM Studios will bring its experience to the table partnering with and working for elite industry leaders. Along with other game developers, publishers, vendors and middleware providers, BKOM Studios will share its knowledge, discuss its best practices and consolidate new partnerships.
This year, BKOM Studios partnered with Disney and Lucasfilm to create and release the Stars Wars – Heroes Path app, a puzzle-based game that drops players into the most iconic scenes of the classic 1977 movie. BKOM Studios also produced a variety of content for Hasbro, most notably, Marvel Super Hero Mashers. Other recent accomplishments include the total redesign and launch of the official Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering websites.
